Hurrah – Philip Reeve has written a prequel to the “Mortal Engines Quartet“. It’s called “Fever Crumb” and is set a generation before the events of the quartet.

I mean, how can you not like a book that starts with the following:

It was a dark, blustery afternoon in spring, and the city of London was chasing a small mining town across the dried-out bed of the old North Sea

I just have to wait for Amazon and La Poste to do their thing and send me the book…
