A lo-fi remaindered link or spare-penny thought plucked straight from the frequency-decoder archive

Hedger Wang (one of my favourite JS/CSS/HTML wranglers) has refined his Imageless dropshadows with HTML + CSS demo. It uses a base64 encoded images for those browsers that can and filter:blur() for those that can’t (i.e. Internet Explorer 6 + 7). Compatible browsers include IE6+, Firefox, Opera and Safari.
