In what only can be described as a “Holy Shit” moment, I discovered (late to the party as usual) that Mark Vidler, a UK Producer / Remixer / DJ that has spent the best part of 5 years producing Bootleg Mash-Ups and Remixes that have achieved a fair degree of worldwide notoriety; has released his entire back catalogue as free Bittorrent downloads – thats 16 CD’s full of melodic madness for free. In his own words:

There should be something here for everyone. All tastes covered and suitably fucked with. Whether you joined the party 3 weeks ago or 5 years ago, there should be enough to swallow…
These CD’s are chronological too, so you can hear the (innocent start, creative flourishes, doing-it-for-a-day-job era, drunken era, I’ve-had-enough era, pull-yourself-together era, DJing-to-20,000 / trashing-hotels etc) as it happened.
Anyway, grab and burn…
