Introducing Saul Samuel McAllister

9 months of waiting, 3 days overdue, arrived 29th March 2007

Saul Samuel McAllister (18 hours old)

A rather squished 18 hour old Saul

...and yet again, one extremely bad photograph but I’ve no excuses this time except I’m not a very good photogapher.

The miracle of birth is really something else folks – it’ almost as if you’ve been administered a heavily-dosed injection of science fiction. An all-singing, all-dancing chorus line of storm troopers gate-crashing the room to present musical interludes between contractions wouldn’t even make you blink twice.

In fact, I have to remember to hire a chorus-line of storm troopers for the next birth – it might make the experience seem that more “real”.

Saul Samuel McAllister (two weeks old)

A more rounded 2 week old Saul

So, peace, love and all the other seratonin induced words of joy that I can think of to you all… life is good…

Congratulations!
He is indeed tiny, though I’m sure he’ll make it up soon.
