...and one extremely bad photograph but the only one that wasn’t blurred by “first-time-father-shaky-hand” syndrome.

My wife’s ability to turn any situation into “a list” reaches new levels of timed-insanity on Tuesday night before our departure to the hospital (for the uninitiated, it’s the times between the contractions – or “labour pains” if your Victorian)...

Two weeks older, almost half a kilo heavier and fully equipped with a “voice” that could wake the dead.

Three weeks old now, getting more curious by the day and growing at an alarming rate…

Most people in France seem to think Jude is a girls name (God help him at school) but this is due to almost everyone thinking that “Jude”, in the Beatles song “Hey Jude”, is actually a girl…
...now there’s a fact you don’t learn everyday.
love justy & mags
The photos are fantastic, sincere apologies for not phoning on the last 2 sundays, it seems that we always have guests.
Anyway, Brian, perhaps you can convey my apologies to your good lady wife and determine what would be a welcome present for the McAllister heir.
Do you both Anne & you manage to sleep a few hours per day ? What’s worth : the
“voice” or the “vogue” ?
see you…
Long time no see (in fact, the last time was the Champagne session to celebrate Jude & Andreas birth – non?).
Your English, like always, is as good as my French:
Worth = Valeur
Worse = Plus mauvais
...and I’m sure you know the reply already – the vogue cannot be beaten ever, my son is a noiseless angel in comparison.
Perhaps we’ll catch up at the weekend if your propping up the bar at the modern (and I get a second to escape my fatherly duties)
It’s so good to be able to see little Jude on this site, please Brian add some new pics! I can’t wait to see the whole McAllister-Guilhot family when I come back for Xmas, hope you’ll be around…
Lots of love
The photos of Jude are adorable, enough to make even me broody but there’s no space for a kid in our miniscule ‘studio’ in Rome (think of the size of our room in Seville and, well, that constitutes our entire living space this year…)
Life is sweet, though very rainy, hope all is well in Lyon. On a sunny Sunday have a fillette at the marché for JY and I.
Baci a tous les trois,
Andria
My days of drinking “Pots” after the Sunday market are well over (at least until Jude is old enough to join me).
I think Anne is currently in “email” mode so expect an incoherant, rambling flow of consciousness in your inbox very soon.
Hope Rome is as cool as Seville was – don’t worry, we couldn’t possibly inflict a 5 month old kid on you both (count yourselves lucky, he has a rather loud “voice” and isn’t scared to use it).
At least your not sharing the “living space” this time round!
Say Hi to JY for me and take care of yourselves.
Brian.
